Today’s Google Doodle is all full of whimsy. Celebrating Gioachino Rossini’s 220th birthday and Leap Day.
Rossini composed “The Barber of Seville,” and, well, frogs leap.

What’s your favorite Rossini opera?  Washington National Opera had a blast in 2009 with The Barber of Seville when it was simulcast to Nationals Park in the 2nd annual Opera in the Outfield, complete with a screening of The Rabbit of Seville during the preshow.
